About the Journal

ARUNIKA: Journal of Literary, Linguistic, Cultural, and Media Studies is an academic journal that serves as a platform for publishing research, critical analyses, and scholarly discussions in the fields of literature, linguistics, culture, and media. The journal seeks to bridge interdisciplinary dialogues, offering in-depth explorations of literary works, linguistic studies, cultural phenomena, and media—including film studies—through diverse and enriching perspectives.

We welcome submissions in various languages, including but not limited to English, Indonesian, and other relevant languages, ensuring an inclusive approach to global scholarship. ARUNIKA aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and foster international academic collaboration.

Scope of Topics:

1. Literature: Studies of classical and modern literary works, literary theory, criticism, comparative literature, and intertextuality.

2. Linguistics: Theoretical and applied linguistic analysis, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and studies of language in social and cultural contexts.

3. Culture: Research on cultural anthropology, traditions, local wisdom, social change, and the impacts of globalization.

4. Media: Studies on film, digital media, television, social media, and other media phenomena from cultural and communicative perspectives.

ARUNIKA is published twice a year, in January and July. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure high-quality and academically sound publications.
